Exo Terra - Madagascar: Journey Part 2

The East Coast of Madagascar was the destination for the Exo Terra research team in June of 2008. The purpose of the trip was to study the different Phelsuma and Chameleon species during the Malagasy winter.

The goal was to collect data and information about the physical condition from the animals as well as their habitats. All this information would then be compared with data collected the following year on an expedition planned during the Malagasy summer.

Any variance in weight as well as behavioural changes observed during these vastly different seasons could give us much better insight on how to provide optimal conditions for these animals that are kept in captivity.
