i find the interviewer to be very aggressive in this approach. he interrupts ms. Riddley and he tries to trap her in her statements. also i find him to pry too much into her married life it's just really embarrassing to watch.

Yobuer: Islam do respect women and give them all their rights. If Taliban banned women from school, it's due to cultural reasons, not religious. You can watch the video again and listen carefully to what Yvonne said. Some acts have been ascribed to Islam, when they are a mere result of some tribal or rural systems. I'm a Muslim, and my mom is educated, so is my sister and all the women in my family. Again, please read ask before you judge.

I wish people would read the Holy Quran before they start forming their own theories about Islam and Muslims. Islam literally means "submission to God." All the messengers of Allah spread "Islam," including Jesus. They taught people that there is only one God Who deserves to be worshipped. Jesus will ascend to earth before the Day of Judgement, yes, and he will pray with the Muslims. It is really odd how someone talks about Jesus with the language of "destruction."

Some people are too blind to see the light of truth. Yvonne read the Holy Quran when she was released, and she knew the truth about it. It's funny that someone said she'd been brainwashed. How exactly did that happen? Is that what Xossaa would say if Yvonne criticized Islam?
