  • My friend Joe smoked Viceroy (at least three packs a day)- he died of cancer, 13 years ago.

  • It must be too expensive to create jingles nowadays.

You don't hear lively jingles anymore in commercials.

  • Very few blacks in commercials in the 1960s.

Now they are in every other commercial it seems, way over represented now and way under represented in the 1960s.

  • Do you have any other Lays commercials from about the same year, especially ones with a big jingle at the end?

  • @ElCartero Thanks. I don't know the Viceroy cigarette. But I like TV promo of the Viceroy.

  • @aicellopack Ah, Viceroy... the perfect cigarette for when you're done laying pipe :-)

  • That camera in the last ad looks almost exactly like the one used in the movie Super 8.

  • That Geritol ad is so stereotyped!

  • Aw, 'Ringo', you PEEKED!

    ;)

  • @fromthesidelines Star Trek.
