  • Didn't think I'd find a tutorial for this in a million years so I was surprised but thanks a lot...do you know comfortable by any chance? I'd love to learn that one or perhaps everything you'll ever be (new unreleased song john played live a few times)

  • @rockstarkay11 I do know Comfortable, and I'll put it on the list of songs I'll do in the future. I also know Everything You'll Ever Be, could get to that one on a day when I have plenty of extra time, seeing as less people know that one.

  • are you only using the mic or do you have it plugged in as well? Which microphone do you recomend the one your using right now or the mxl 4000. Im going for an inside wants out kinda fat acoustic tone. ohh and what interface and program are you using? sorry for all the questions but you have the best acoustic tone on youtube.

  • @Onetruthrgv I use both the pencil mic and the mxl 4000 for acoustic recording, as well as plugging in with my pickup in the guitar. I use all 3 signals at once when I'm recording stuff, makes for a very full sound.

I just plug everything into a small Behringer mixer and send the output of that to the line in of my computer, into Audacity. Pretty simple and cheap setup, but it works for me.

  • Dude nice! Keep them coming....Would love to see '83!

  • @pip3388 So would I! I still haven't mastered how to play 83... :P

  • thats one nice guitar =\

  • awesome tab bro

  • thanks for posting this, it really helped. Do you know any chicago songs? If you do i'm trying to learn a terry kath song from the chicago x album called "hope for love".

and I can't find any chords or an instructional video for it. thanks.

  • fantastic job can't say thank you enough, got the whole song down. good to see his old stuff is still appreciated

  • Jeepers, Ive been avoiding using my thumb for far too long. So many of these chords are a challenge for me. I'm not used to being uncomfortable playing guitar, but I must grow. Thank you so much for this video!! Time for some muscle memory building!!

  • You're my hero!

  • The alst chord you play in the chorus is the same chord as in neon but with an extra pinky! Try neon and this will be much easier, thank god I learned neon first!

Neon is great and helps sooo much with your right and left hand technique!

    Try it!

  • hey thanks for this dude.
