  • He isn't dissing the US as a country he is dissing the American music industry, and he's right! When was the last time the American music industry promoted a good kick ass rock band the way they promote commercial BS? I'm a proud American but the music scene here sucks now because of commercialism.

  • love 3:13 - 3.17, I have a same opinion with you, Mr. Dio

  • Different because stupid new hip hop

  • @johnnyhala

He has no reason to chill out because he couldn't be more than right. American Idol is a fucking joke and the sooner people realize that the sooner this country will stop sucking so much in relation to the music industry.

  • @hobbes937 Rock was much more 'in' in the 80's, so there were much more sales. Now there is more sales in r&b and hip hop. The inudstry changed because the trends changed. The music industry wasn't led by metalheads back then, (as in the label presidents etc), and it's not led by r&b artists today. It just promotes more, what sells the most.

  • I love RJD, he was a great artist and he is missed, but concerning American Idol, he really needs to just chill out, it's a talent show, nothing more, and he's right, those people fade into obscurity eventually, but it's just a talent show.

  • Speaking the truth!

  • I agree with what Ronnie says here.

  • His right.

  • @vinnynumbnuts Thats true thay started with small gigs at local bars and worked their way up to the top for dacades. It's a thing of beauty. Hence the song, It's Long Way to The Top.
