this video is from 2007 4 years later and people still paying 4 dollars for a fucking coffe this country is full of suckers

People dont buy products like coffee from starbucks because of the price. They buy coffee from starbucks because its programmed in our minds that its the best product, and also the most popular. Why do you think corporations spend to much on advertisement annually?

starbucks coffee is just the same as other stores. Though there other drinks are way better

@mca10 LOL..hahahhahah. Oh Yes! Please bring on the heating lamps! loL......so true..so true!

@pastormatthewhylton It is the experience, you nailed it! This enterprise has become a vast part of Americana; the lure, appeal and sophistication of Starbucks makes it more addictive than caffeine itself. The psychological appeal Starbucks has on people on a subconscious level, makes this a place of choice when making a conscientious deciscion. How they fucking do it....I dont know!

When are people going to realize, you dont pay for the coffee but the experience.

Well there is a reason why Starbucks drinks are a lot more expensive is because of its much higher quality coffee and espresso beans. It is a lot better to drink Starbucks in a long run if u are addicted to caffeine.
Starbucks doesn't overcharge. The fact is, that latte you buy at Starbucks is a lot better than the one from Dunkin Donuts, not to mention the fact that Starbucks pays it's employees better and gives a lot more benefits. You're also paying for a nicer place to drink that latte.
If you don't want all those things, then fine, go to Dunkin Donuts, but don't start theories on something you know nothing about.

Gotta love the mainstream media. "Basically the same product" kidding me? Bottom line- People will pay for the little extra & quality. Always have, always will. Stop in a Starbucks during morning rush or lunch in a major city and then argue this.
