A response to 21stCenturyFeminist's request for submissions to answer the question of "What's wrong with pornography?" from an anti-porn standpoint. While I am anti-porn and have beliefs based off of radical feminist writings, I am a bit more lenient when it comes to porn or erotic material not produced by big studios for mainstream demand.

  • Phase erotic desire out of our lives? I'm sorry but that just isn't going to happen without some kind of radical biological engineering. I mean western society could probably turn a notch or 2 but trying to get rid of sex drives altogether would just lead to repression.

I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on giantess fiction.

  • @Disthron Yeah, I've changed my mind a bit since this one, and I'd have to agree with you there.

Giantess? You mean men fantasizing about being turned into dolls by giant abusive women? I think it's a harmless form of BDSM fantasy.

  • @GoingRampant Do you mean being turned into actual dolls or just treated like a doll? Anyway, it's a bit more varied than that. The women aren't always abusive and sometimes they are destroying hole cities rather than focusing on specific people.

  • @Disthron I meant treated like dolls--or small pets. I'm not a macrophile, so I don't seek out that kind of story. It's common enough to stumble across, though. I can see the appeal, but it's not my thing.

  • @GoingRampant fair enough.

  • @JollyRogerRadio Yes, that's important to keep in mind. I feel sorry for guys in porn even when they occupy (non-BDSM) dominant roles because of that objectification.

  • @SquarishLink

Remember folks, pornography objectifies men as well. Generally attempting to appeal to the male audience, it enforces the idea that men must behave in such manors and thus brings men down to a mere sex object as well.

  • Hmm, think i'll go with an angle that highlights my double chin. Perfect.

  • @SquarishLink Look up sex-positive feminism and be educated, kthanx.
