Painkiller Black (PC) - 13 - C3L2 (Abandoned Factory)

Here's part 13 of my Painkiller Black Edition playthrough for the PC. The Black Edition has the main game, and its expansion, Battle Out of Hell. This covers level C3L2, Abandoned Factory.

In this playthrough I play on Nightmare difficulty, unlock all tarot cards and find all secrets and holy items (there will be additional videos for Trauma and Extras content).

Gold Cards Used: Fury, Double Haste, Time Bonus
Silver Cards Used: Soul Catcher, Dark Soul
Card Unlocked: Forgiveness (Silver - You Can Use Golden Cards Two Times Per Level)
Card Unlocking Requirement: Kill at Least 30 Enemies in Demon Morph Mode

Also of note, this playthrough uses checkpoints only. I don't use any quicksaving!

So what was that skull-thing you found at the end of the level?

It's called a weapon modifier. Depending on the weapon, it changes the attributes, making them more powerful. It makes the stakes always catch fire (not just at great distances), the Painkiller's laser is always on whether or not you're looking at it, the shurikens from the Electrodriver explode, the SMG has a constant fire rate, etc.

It's possible to pick it up before the final fight, but since you have to go through all the silos again, it usually wears off before you can really use it.
