In this video I describe why calling the last 7 years the Tribulation is causing confusion in regards to the Rapture. The real name should be the Time of Jacobs Trouble, and that enphasizes that the focus during the last 7 years is on the nation of Israel and not the church.

  • So is the LAST 7 years before or after the second coming of Jesus? From your video you give the impression that the time of Jacob's trouble is the LAST 7 years, which I am assuming you mean the last 7 years right BEFORE the second coming of Jesus. Is this a correct assumption? Thanks for your input.

  • @AMATTEROFTRUTH: The last 7 years of this earth age which ends with the return of Christ. Then we start the day of rest (Hebrews ch4).

  • The meeting in the air is mentioned between two uses of the Lord's day coming and no distinction is made between the saints meeting in the air and the Lord's day coming, why? because the Lord's day coming and the saints (Christians) meeting in the air are of the same day. Ref. I Thess.4:15 and I Thess. 5:2 and remember there were no numbering of the verses when this was written.

  • @JoBernard12oxen: If the Rapture were at the end of the Tribulation there would be no one left in the flesh to start the new millenium.

  • I have a question, do you then also believe in once saved always saved. Jesus also tells us that He did not come abolish the law but to fulfill the law did He not.

  • @MrRevelationtv: Very good question. Paul say it would have better to never be saved than to be saved and turn turn away? Last, there is the parable of the seeds and some were in shallow dirt so they believed but when trouble came they fell away. So I cannot say definitively but it would seem to me that you can be lost again if you turn away. How about we not test it? :)

  • You said the church can't go back under the law because that makes Christ's sacrifice null...But you say that the world at large will go back under "the law"...how can u reconcile these ideas? Are you saying no one can be saved after the rapture?

  • @nitdiver5 Echoing the questions of amatteroftruth and mavaism here ... where do you get that we return to the old covenant (or return to the law as you put it) during the last 7 years? I don't get that out of Heb ch4. If what you say is correct, then per the law no one could be saved ... i.e. no one post (your) rapture can become a Christian ... however it is clear that Christians are alive (because they are killed) during the tribulation. See ?v=xSA3DLuxgNw

  • @nitdiver5 Then I assumed correctly that you are saying that Jacob's time of trouble is the last 7 years before the second coming of Jesus just like Matthew 24:21 and 29 tells us is the SAME time that there shall be great tribulation such as was not since the world began nor ever shall be, which is theSAME time when the antichrist shall oppress the saints. So how did those who teach prophecy name or call this last 7 years incorrectly as you say in the video? Trying to see where you got this

  • Great video. Praise be to Jesus! Whilst ive been a Christian my whole life, its only been in this last year that i am truly starting to build a relationship with The lord and understand His Word. One point you mentioned that im a little confused about is the 70 weeks.. so if 69 passed then Jesus was crucified.. does that mean from then until the world enters the final 7 years, that is the "pause" or "time of grace"? Can you direct me to where in scripture that is mentioned? God bless you brother

  • @nitdiver5 the verse use to claim a rapture before the tribulation is used between two uses of the Lord's day coming, the meeting in the air is on the same day, it is on the Lord's day return, your beliefs are irrelevant.
