@johntfowler Are you attempting to get rid of the singer in the song? There is an option to reduce vocals that you may be able to use in order to do what you want. It is under the "Effects" tab.

I've trimmed the intro count to a practice track.How or can I add more time to the beginning of the track? In other words I want to add the time i cut with no sound.

@cruzonsax If you want dead time instead of that clip you can highlight that clip and go to the "Edit" menu. There is an icon that says "Silence". If you select "silence current selection" you will replace that time with silence.

@Beatthebeatupp You can use the echo effect to get the same result. You can adjust how long the delay lasts when doing that.

@ThroughEmptiness WavePad is not made to record vocals simultaneously with music. However, we have a product called MixPad that can do that. I suggest looking at MixPad and seeing if it is what you are looking for.

I just don't know where the delay thing is.... i click on effect and i can't find the "delay" button.
