Advance is Sonic 1 compared to this piece of shit's engine.

@DoctorEggmanNega Yeah it was. I have fond memories of getting killed on those damn moving stair blocks on the original Genesis version. You had to jump on the stairs and jump off and wait until they stopped moving to go up/down them.
All of these classic games from the Genesis on newer consoles aren't ports, they're run on an emulator that's seamlessly integrated into the launcher. Nobody is going to take the massive amounts of time to port hand optimized 68k/z80/ym2612 code to new consoles.

@GGigabiteM Never had that happen to me quite like this, though.
And no, this wasn't emulation, it was a straight up port, unlike most re-releases of this game which are just emulation. It's obvious this GBA version was re-done from the ground up. And quite sloppily.

@DoctorEggmanNega Not done from the ground up unfortunately. It was made with the Sonic Advance engine, using Sonic 1's sprites and hit boxes.

@BLEAHGames124365 Sure doesn't run as smoothly, nor do the physics feel the same. And Dimps might as well remake it if that was the case. Which I doubt it is.
