Tim Appenzeller interviews E.O. Wilson. The legendary naturalist and activist speaks of the wonder of the natural world, and how we can maintain our connection to it in these technological times.
The Aspen Institute and National Geographic magazine host the first ever Aspen Environment Forum, in Aspen, Colorado—a powerful, three-day exchange examining the future of our shared environment.
"I believe that soccer mom's are the greatest enemy in modern life of natural history" hilarious. Wilson is a legend.

You can imagine how how I felt hosting him here for a documentary on his life's work. He broke off long enough to file this segment for my organization, Friends of Hurricane Creek

Lucky person. I consider him one of the greatest and most eloquent defenders of the diversity of life and would be honored to hear him speak in a crowd of 10,000.

It is an honor to consider Ed Wilson as a personal friend and mentor. He did his postgraduate work here on Hurricane Creek in the 50's. His video message posted on my page is a very strong message of how important people in the trenches are to environmental protection.
video title is E.O. Wilson on HUrricane Creek
We are, according to Dr. Wilson, "The Thin Green Line"

Wilson is a true Darwinian thinker, and a brilliant scientist.
