Plot Summary: Adapted from the acclaimed bestseller by Jonathan Safran Foer, "Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close" is a story that unfolds from inside the young mind of Oskar Schell, an inventive eleven year-old New Yorker whose discovery of a key in his deceased father's belongings sets him off on an urgent search across the city for the lock it will open.   • This movie is not the book. Please, oh please read the book. There's something lost when switching storytelling mediums.

  • Tommy, I hear ya about Tom Hanks. As much as I like him and his affable personality, he doesn't have as much depth as you would expect after so many years in the business.
