1968 PONTIAC GTO CARWASH CONVERTIBLE hurst his and hers conv

This BA and i going through a car wash with our alpine blue 1968 gto .
this was the summer of 06 on our way to a local Long Island gto and classic car show .
I need some new seals for the top .
I was saved by cute and fuzzy bunny .
but the blonde wound up winning the wet t'shirt contest .

Is that car Alpine Blue? I have a '68 hardtop and it looks like the same color.

Thanks cdalego, you do a search on youtube and only find trailer queens and stock jobs. On top of that more fake aussie chevy GTOs are on youtube! I have a 72GTO it was ment to be driven.

Scientists have proven it is safer for your paint to use a professional car wash as the scratches it causes are less deep than the ones you cause doing it yourself.

besides hand washing means your simply putting your cars dirt into a bucket of water and sponging that crappy water all over your paint where as at a car wash the water is fresh clean and filtered brushes don't hold dirt and is safe and proven

I dont know a sole who hasn't improved their engine, your OPINION only makes sense it they were totally stock. That being said where was the 455 option for all your fav GTOs? 1972 had 2 455s & just about everyone removed RAMAIR 3s from 400s to put onto 455s.

You say 72 as if its some insult to own one!

With only 5,807 GTOs built in 72 it makes my GTO rare, more rare then any GTO on a Fisher A body and well known for being better looking then most!

I gotta agree to a point, I wouldnt take a GTO or any car for that matter through a car wash. My wife and I own a 69 Judge, and I would NEVER take her through a car wash!! But, in all fairness, the convertible is his and at least he does drive it and it is not a trailer queen, gotta respect that.

Sorry but 72??  The real GOOD GTO's were the 65 through 70! 69 being the absolute best. 72 had no horsepower, and all the restrictions!

i plan to drive my goat every day as well (when i get my license in 4 Months) however i dont think i will ever take it to one of these car destroying machines. my dad drove his fairly new Mercedes through one of these it it ripped the side view mirror off early on and then it banged against the car.
