http://www.revzilla.com/shark-evoline The Shark Evoline helmet came out a few years back and revolutionized the modular helmet industry by being the first of its kind that could be ridden in as a full face or true open face helmet on the road. Now, two iterations later, the Shark Evoline 2 ST Helmet has addressed issues from previous models and is now prepared to integrate with the Sharktooth Bluetooth Communication System, with cutouts for the battery and speakers of the system. At its core, the Evoline 2 ST is an injected thermoplastic resin shell with a multi-component shock absorbing EPS that has different densities. The external visor is anti-scratch and demisting, featuring 9 detents and an improved ratcheting system over older models. There is better sealing against the wind and rain via hermetically sealed edges and the neck & side covers gained 1cm in width for a quieter ride and improved weatherproofing. The mechanism of the chinbar is stainless steel and built onto an elliptical hinge which allows it to wrap to the back of the head maintaining aerodynamics and comfortable weight distribution when riding open face. The interior is Meryl, which is antimicrobial and moisture wicking, and is completely removable and washable. This helmet changed the game a few years back and the newest version features even more improvements over previous models.

  • Does it come with the bluetooth system or you have to buy it separately?

  • @sia94chin The Bluetooth System is sold separately.

  • I'm getting my first motorcycle next week. I'm looking for a helmet that is:

    1. top of the line in safety.

    2. Bluetooth

    3. Open face

    4. looks good.

    In that order.

Can anyone give my the top three that fit those points.

Is the O'Neal Racing Tirade Bluetooth Helmet the best one?

  • @jsriley3245 Here goes: First get a SENA SMH10 or Cardo G4 Bluetooth Unit which can go on any helmet unless you want to spend more money for the Sharktooth or Schuberth SRC which are helmet specific and have great technology. The other oem BT units are just ok. As far as top Modular options: Schuberth C3, Shark Evoline, Shoei Multitech, Nolan (many oft hem), HJC Sy-Max 2. A modular will not be as safe as an open face.

  • Does it have speaker cut outs on both sides?

  • @Stang1040 Yes. Both sides of the helmet will be compatible.

  • Great Helmet BUT beware that the so called non scratch proof visor easily scratches by the brining the visor down and up. My first evoline 2 had this problem and they replaced via the dealer I bought it from. My second one had the same problem. You contact SHARK and they ignore you and simply put you on their junk email list. Very dissapointed.

  • @RevZillaTV I love the information contained in your videos, but PLEASE can you speak slower? The fast talking spoils the video.

  • @RevZillaTV Thanks for the help bud. Sorry i didn't get back to you sooner, but i was busy hunting for my bike and i finally got my ducati monster. I was looking online and saw you guys got a shop in philly. I plan on headed there tuesday and pick up the shark evoline and then the sharktooth a bit later. One last question. Why is a modular not as safe as open face? I figure it would be the other way around since you can make it a full helmet. Thanks again buddy.

  • These review vids are very infomative and helpful and your shipping policies seem to be top notch. Keep up the good work.

  • I would think for $500 it would come with the bluetooth system. You mean i have to buy it separate?

  • Wife got me an EV2 for Christmas. First full face I've ever had. Still getting used to it. I love the freedom of my 1/2 helmets and this full face is a big difference. I've noticed that my peripheral vision is diminished, which I'm sure is common. I must say though that the EV2 gives me the best of both worlds and I don't feel like I'm compromising. On a sunny day I rode chin-bar up and was thankful that after the sun fell, I had the warmth of a full face! 1 Major complaint: Need more air on top
