I caught my bettas doing it today and I thought that this could be a really cool educational piece to show you. I know it's tacky and it has a lack in quality, but hey, that's what you get for using a digital camera for all of my films. Enjoy! Also, please note that if you do not like nature or anything beautiful, then don't view this video. This is purely educational due to the fact that my friends keep asking me questions as to how bettas 'do it'. I hope this answers the question.
Why would you breed veiltails? Desperate to 'practice' eh? Veiltails will never breed to get anything better. Halfmoons and double tails are just as easy to breed, and you actually get quality fry. And unless you were planning to breed, NEVER keep an unconditioned pair of bettas together. It is just asking for trouble.
