Highlights of Minnesota Vikings' running back Chuck Foreman's 1976 season, set to the tone of classic NFL Films music. Foreman was the 1973 NFL Rookie of the Year and was a rushing title contenter each year he was with the team. Vikings' offensive coordinator Jerry Burns designed the foundation of the well known "West Coast Offense" to utilize his unique skills. Head coach Bill Walsh, who popularaized the offense with his San Francisco 49ers, publicaly admitted that Jerry Burns' designs were the foundation of his offense.
Rashad, is he running to try and block someone, or just tagging along for the ride? Easily could have blocked Rams #49 Monty Jackson @ 1:02

The first time I saw him run, made me a football FAN! I'm from NY, a Jet fan & Viking fan, but Viking fan because of Chuck. Underrated & appreciated! Best feet I've see on a running back his size!

Thank you for this post. I have been a fan of Foreman since I was a kid. With the help of your video I can show my students who the great Chuck Foreman is.

From 1974 to 1977 Chuck Foreman had 60 touchdowns. I know i just saw him today and got some states that he had there. The amount of TD's on here is wrong.

@billyfan8305
He hurt his knee and was out of the line up for a few games in 73'. In 77' he also hurt it, and took the brace off for the final game of the season. An crucial MNF contest against the Lions wich the Vikings HAD to win to get in the playoffs. They won it and Chuck was sensational. In 79 he also hurt it, this time more seriously, but again nothing major..

He saw things materialize before they even took shape, so he was putting on a move as soon as he made eye contat with the defender.
Again, I've never seen more spectacular moves, Sayers , Sanders, Simpson etc. Been watching football for over 40 years....just never seen anything like Chuck. One of the top 4 or 5 athltes ever to suit up and easily the greatest of all Vikings.
