  • I never played this years ago (heard all about it though) so I downloaded it after seeing this vid....seems tricky, yeah, but I don't think it's impossible. I managed to get about 8 screens into it in half an hour of play. A few snapshot saves would have this game beaten fairly quickly I reckon, if I could be bothered to play it much more that is lol.

  • Nothing's impossible if you stick at it. Who really wants to play this through to the end though? Check the map. That's enough to put anybody off! The boredom factor steps in pretty much after a couple of screens. The end message probably says 'Game Over!' if you're lucky!

  • That's a challenge then. I'm going to finish this bugger of a game over the next couple of weeks and let you know. Knowing my luck, I'll probably encounter some sort of Jet Set Willy style bug near the end that renders the game uncompleteable anyway :(

  • Good luck to you. Rather you than me! It's probably got one of the best endings ever and I'll be kicking myself.

  • personally I think somebody should do a walk through collecting every single item!! I know some of you guys and girls out there like a challenge!! I would love to see what was past the first few screens as per usual I never really got very far. god I must have been really shit at games in those days.

  • What!!! You mean you don't have to collect anything? This is probably compleatable. That third screen with the baddies heading straight for you doesn't bode well. This is a step above MM in difficult and approaching Pavlov dog territory!

  • The funny thing about this game is it's not even a JSW/MM ripoff.

It actually is a heavily modified version of JSW, used without permission.

  • hahaha...i remember buying this on my speccy 48k...hundreds of levels..i used to love this game...I remember giving up !!!! :)

  • Coded by the founder of Team17 and 17Bit PD Library.

I remember seeing a demo version of this brought into our local computer shop in Wakefield by the guys when they were still working on it.

    MicroByte was a great store.

Shame about the game really, but it has fond memories to be for those reasons. :)

  • This was the period when every company was releasing platform games trying to cash in on the success of MM. Nice graphics but just really BAD. Not an enjoyable experience.
