Atlanta injury attorney Greg Stokes explains what a person can do if they do not have health insurance but they need to see a doctor. First, on the day of your injury, visit a hospital emergency room. Federal law requires the hospital to treat you regardless of your economic situation.

You may be able to pay for health costs under Medicare or Medicaid. You may be able to pay for medical care following an automobile accident using Medical Payments coverage. Watch the video now to learn more about paying for medical care following an accident.

For more information on how to pay for medical care following an accident, please visit our educational website at http://www.stokesinjurylawyers.com. If you have legal questions, I want you to pick up the phone and give me a call now toll-free at (800) 700-5050.

I hear you. I really do. Listen, I know a way you can be seen on a sliding scale payment. I know a community healthcare clinic that bases you medical bills on your income. Its non profit. They have everything there: 1) A lab, 2) An interpreter and sign language specialist.

If you have no insurance, no problem. They will still see you. The minium you pay is $15 a visit, but of course you are a high earner the costs will be more, but not much.

I will send you a video, ok.

  • u said it Jay! i'm not in ur situation but am needing a hip replacement and ulnar nerve surgery and can't get any help. trying disabilty right now with no luck so far. don't qualify for anthing he talks about in this video because they say my wife makes too much money and, her insurance will not accept me. much less can we afford insurance on one salary. doctors will not see u without cash up front and alot of it, at that! my prayers out to u Jay and hang in there.

  • your video did not help in any way what so ever. I am a 31 year old man. with NO health insurance. I AM DYING. no... i truely am dying. this country does not care about those who are sick. neither do doctors who practice medicine. This entire country is filled with nothing but CROOKS and evil men.
