@gerax8800 nope! Most things are opened. Just the areas from the French Marine is closed. Means, the old big Area where you can enter the Bunker.Where the U-boats stod and shipped out to the great sea. Cause its dangerous.This complex could destroy itself and fall down. So they describe there. I think they just say it because they have a secret there...Like a secret base!

@tarzan694 Agreed to boalman. If you see this in real, like me, you will say yourself..they CANT destroy it! They are over 7 metres thick! And also they use it now as Marinedepot for theyr own ships. Also as a warning! That NEVER begin a war like this from germany.And believe me, to see this beautifull place...you just get faszinated! And also...it looks there,with the buildings and gates like in the old DDR from war! But really, we germans cant anything for that! Our ancents fault! D:

The Allies dropped tons and tons of bombs on it to no effect. Only once i think they were penetrated, by a the biggest bomb they got - a 10 Ton Grand Slam bomb from RAF Bomber Command. But after a day or two the damage was repaired.

The bunker is very, very resistent, the walls are several feet thick. Its difficult. , anyway, some bases are used by the military or government departments, other state are simply ruins.

There is a small corridor through which you can enter but not see much.
if you want to see anyone inside go to St Nazaire Base.
