I have the CD-set from Moonjune Records (Blues for Tony) and I already played it so many times that if it was an old record it would look like a lady on a pirate ship! Wow, what a great musicians (all of them!). I know Holdsworth's music for a long time now, but I am amazed about what Alan Pasqua does here. Amazing, and I really love the structures he is playing. What a great musicians!

@RepublicanTorture I beg to differ!!!This music DOES tell stories AND paints pictures. At least for me,few other music forms do so!!!
-
@RepublicanTorture You just don't have the senses to understand the story

it's not emotional, not personal? What a stupid thing to say. Yes this is art, this is pure, absolute improvisation from the soul. Holdsworth's improvisation, for me, does tell a story, and does paint pictures.
Mr. Holdsworth is just visiting this planet. I, for one, am glad he's here!

How sorry i feel for anyone who can not see the genius and the complete mastery of his instrument that Allan Holdsworth has.
When he is truly recognised it will be to late!!!!! As Frank Zappa said, " his name is Allan Holdsworth, the most gifted guitarist in the universe "
