the roman catholic church killed most of our shamans (druids) or made them outcasts where much of the 'witch' hunts started, many druids became part of the church and still had strong ties with their community and it died out.. so i think celtic shamans are looking elsewhere for our shamanic ways because it was lost many years before u.s was even found

@pearlsb4swine1969 Meditaiton DOES NOT HAVE to involve fixating to one religion. You don't even need to be a follower of a religion to meditate. Meditation brings you on your own Path to the Divine. Cultures across the world know this and knew it for a very long time- Aboriginals, Asians, Celts, Native Americans, ... the list goes on.

If you want to confine yourself to limited practice of your religion to what YOU want, by all means, do so - but please... DO NOT TELL OTHERS WHAT THEY HAVE TO DO

I practice Celtic Shamanism, I've studied all branches of the Occult, and NONE of them yield to "demonic worship". THAT is your own bias and belief perseverance blinding you from what is really there, and many followers of christianity did the same thing (unfortunately). You've NEVER even read a book about Paganism, so what gives you the audacity to say that we "deceive the mind"?

You may think that you are close to your god, but you have distanced yourself from the Divine. If you say that God is a spirit, but then say that the critical mind cannot "discern right from wrong", your syllogism is logically false. You clearly have not studied Paganism at all - you cling to belief perseverance like a cringing child.
