Brief video of our Rover 75 / MG ZT 2.0 CDTI Diesel (BMW) Engine starting up, idling at tickover and also being revved. Engine has only covered a genuine 44,000 miles and runs absolutely beautifully. Smooth tickover & idle. This is an absolutely superb low mileage good BMW engine.

  • I have the 2.0 cdt,and its s uperb family car,a double buggy fits in the boot,

I have 2 baby seats in the back, and still room for another passenger inbetween.

Even on short journeys with a cold engine im still getting well over 30 to the gallon

Its cheep to run and insure, and oozes style and class.

I will get a newer 75 with lower miles (mines a W reg with 146,000m) when i get some money together.

Alot better than a "normal car"-)

  • Great until the Crank pulley goes west.

  • This diesel is the BMW (weaker engine)

  • try to check generator pulley, change it inc fan belt

  • Such a shame about the damage.

  • my brother has that same engine in his freelander, fantastic engine there bud

  • what a state that car is in, shame.
