I'm not gonna respond to the trolls since that would just be feeding... lol.
But answer me this, all fans, and all naysayers. Name me one, that's right just ONE, medal-contending female figure skater from the 1996 to 2006 era that did a triple lutz CONSISTENTLY in almost EVERY exhibition program she ever performed.
Answer, you won't. Technical mastery is technical mastery. Say what you will, Michelle has landed more triple lutz's on performance and exhibition ice than ANY other skater.

@Themindiscurious Loves skating? Not so much imo. She seemed ready to show up when the money was a given and as far as competition... she just expects the gold to be handed to her just for showing up... Skating to fields of Gold? Come on. Should have been grateful and relieved to stand on another Olympic podium (bronze belonged to Sasha) but instead spouts this sappy number to play on public sympathy and looked quite angry and shocked on that podium.

Beautiful. Poetry in motion. One of the best skaters ever - all heart and soul ! Knowing the back story makes this such an incredibly emotional video/performance. (Yes, I'm a girly-man, I teared up the night I watched this live). Michelle Kwan makes skating look so easy and natural and she exudes artistic beauty and pure joy as she skates. It is so obvious she loves skating and looks like she belongs on the ice. Incredible. Love it.

I'm truly unbiased as I know nothing of the skating circles when I say that your comments belong somewhere else than on this video. This is absolutely remarkable performance and when it comes to musicality she's one of the better ones I've seen.

No Gold...boohoo...she didn't even deserve bronze...she turns on the waterworks and everyone just wets their pants over her. Couldn't stand up herself so everyone does it for her.

Oh Kwan wanted the gold. She wanted it REAL bad. Thinking that it was a foregone conclusion that it was going to be handed to her. Wearing the gold...the games were supposed to be about ME-ME-ME-chelle flaunting that coveted medal. So selfish, so spoiled, so arrogant...thinking same, old, and coachless didn't matter. Oh the justice of it all! Sarah saved the sport and proved it's all about the competition, and not the name, that matters!

The best performance by any of the ladies skaters at this Olympics--competitive performances included. Michelle has the "it" factor. It can't be taught.

One of my favorite all time programs to watch. She shows her heart, love, and integrity. This moment will forever be iconic immortalize this true champion. She skates with her heart and has the gift to translate music into movement. Few skaters have this gift. It is music in motion. It brings tears each time I watch it. Whoever makes negative comments on Michelle does not truly understand what she did for this sport... A true champion. Success is not always measure in gold medals.
