The Novation XioSynth is a lot rolled into one product; an audio interface, hardware synth, control surface, and much more. Novation's Stephanie Seimovich walks us through the features of XioSynth, which comes in 25-key and 49-key versions with semi-weighted keys, but alas, no aftertouch. (That feature can be found in Novation's X-Station.)
XioSynth has 16 onboard "templates" for controlling software and hardware. Novation's website says you can "boot up your favourite plug-ins and play them with the XioSynth instantly. If your particular plugs aren't included in the onboard templates then you can easily acquire more templates online." Check out the Gearwire video to learn more about the Novation XioSynth.

Poor video, but I can vouch for the unit's capabilities. I'm a big M-Audio guy and was looking for an Ozone, but saw someone selling this. The on-board synth was a bonus and has some quality presets. The audio interface as good, stable and quick ASIO drivers (can run Reason 4 on a Samsung n310 with less than 10ms latency easy, and Reaper also) has a 48v XLR phantom power connection too. Well pleased with this and haven't even begun on the synth side of things...

@pecoyamada Looks like a teleprompter to me. I don't think this video will make*ANYONE* buy this keyboard. But it won't stop anybody either, this thing sounds pretty good, even to a true analog fan like me

Would it be too much to demonstrate how the thing sounds? Sheesh. I'm not going to buy the thing because I heard an interesting rap about *templates*.
