I really liked it. The set up sounds terrific.

Very, very cool! Thank you for sharing, Peter!!!

I like how mellow and bassy your tone is... many Brian May fans don't really show that side of Trisonic Pickups.

@BorgAngel Nono. Thanks, It is from a backingtrack a few years ago from the Guitarist Mag. But all guitars are me.

Even if you recorded it very simply just with an sm57 and a pathfinder, it sounds pretty well to me! I tried to record some stuff with my red special and treble booster, pathfinder, sm57 mic. But I failed to find the decent riff tone like yours. I'll very appreciate if you tell me what was the e,q setting of your pathfinder and the position of mic when playing the riff

@hihhih01 I don´t remember exactly how I set the amp but I´m pretty sure I used it the way I normally do: bass around 9 o´clock and trebla almost all way down. Then to place the mic is the trick. You should avoid the centre of cone and go towards the edge. Try also angle the mic and place it a fe inches away and you´ll be there soon.

Sorry man, not hearing you in there. Matched your track with one I have in Logic, dime for dime it's Brian I'm hearing. Maybe you should post a video. The Pathfinder 15R is a little gem, though. With a 12" Celestion Blue Alnico in an outboard 3/4 closed cab, its a little screamer.
