A Sports Scribe takes an early look at the new development in Harrison, New Jersey for Red Bull New York, the Major League Soccer franchise that has waited a decade for a place of its own to call home.
Sorry to harass & "jack" your post, but...................
A redeveloped, continuous neighborhood from the Arena to the Raymond Ave bridge could have done a world of good for Newark. (If you have not already) check the Brazilian & Portuguese restaurants in the Ironbound section. Best in the NY Metro.
All in due time I guess. The plans are still a go. People just have to have the money & desire to buy.
Either way, keep up the good work & I hope to see more from you.
That must explain the vast empty space between the PATH station and PSE&G land and the construction site itself. As all other construction projects these days, we'll see what happens. Thanks for the comment.
No worries and my apologies for the very late reply. I'll keep that area in mind next season for the next Devils game I attend.

The unfortunate part of Red Bull Arena story is the massive redevelopment that was supposed to accompany it. Housing, retail ect.
The economic downturn put a halt to everything but the arena itself.
