The idea to have a diaper changing station in the nursery is to have access to all the items that you need for changing your baby's diapers. There are many options that you can choose from while getting a changing station in place. One great option is to have a dresser with a changing table top. This is a handy dresser near your changing station and with the top lifted away; it becomes a dresser that you may use when your child no longer needs diaper changing. It is advisable to get a changing station which has drawers at waist level for easy usage while changing diapers. Always keep diapers and wipes at hand.
It is recommended to keep some baby suits at the changing station. You will also need a sink to soak the dirty clothes immediately. Toys can help to distract your baby while changing diapers and it is a good idea to keep them handy too.
