I was in kindergarten when he got voted off. I cried a river. For one, I had a little crush on him X3 For two, I grew up with Nickelback and this is the first song I heard by them.

I remember being SO CRUSHED with this results show!! Probably the first time I was ever so upset with American Idol.
He looked so surprised, defiant and upset - with anybody else I would have been so annoyed by such an attitude but COME ON - Constantine with the glam and the hair! He was the first true rocker and one of the greatest performers on AI history, and moved on to broadway! SIGH, still love the Constantine!

ETA, strangely enough, I think he sang the song better the night he got kicked off than he did during the first performance. It had a different tone. I still hate the song itself though. (Anybody remember his black pants with the strategically placed zipper? OMG!)

@supapuppie I thought the same thing at the time, but I went to see the concert that year in Duluth GA and was totally surprised at how much better Scott sounded in person. He was actually really good, especially on the duet he did with Jessica. On the TV show forums, people used to call Scott the ham with teeth! LOL I think if Constantine had picked a better song that week, he probably would have stayed. That song choice kind of sucked to be honest.

I watched every moment of this season. Constantine was one of my favroites, next to Carrie. I cried when he got voted off, all of my friends wanted him to win :D
