Stephen Hawking says the Universe (everything) just (POOF!) appeared from nothing out of nowhere. Could we see a demonstration of that, please?

  • If something came from nothing then nothing must be something from which something comes from.

  • @authorizedversionKJB Well, nothing by its very nature can't be something. And ther's zero empirical evidence proving nothing exists anywhere. If the Universe came from nothing, then let's see if we can demonstrate by creating an environment of perfect nothingness and making things from it ;) Couple problems there though, 1, create perfect nothingness, which we can't (and even if we could - to what purpose?) 2, make some thing come from this perfect no thing without adding any thing.

  • @ScottishProfessor P.S. - chasing THAT tail ought to keep 'em busy a while, eh? :)) MMMMUUUHHAWAWAWAawawawawawawawawawa....

  • This douchbag thinks he's smarter than Hawking. Go get a PhD and maybe you can try to dubunk his discovery, idiot.

  • @Zergii P.S. I only ACT like an idiot.

  • @mackiemoo Thanks and God Bless you too... yeah, them thar smart people have some pretty elaborate theories. String theory.... maybe there really IS a 'flying spaghetti monster! :o

  • @GoodSamaritean4life You'r exactly right about the insane thing - see Zergii comment as a case in point.

  • @Zergii BUZZ OFF Zergii - and save that intellectual hot air of superiority for someone who will actually be intimidated by it. Ad hominims seem to be the customary response to anyone daring to point out that the Emperor has no clothes. You come back here posting empty name-calling again and you'll get blocked. There are a growing number of people who are no longer in the least intimidated by this intellectual bigotry - and intellego ('between the lines'), and brilliance doesn't come with a Ph.D

  • @GoodSamaritean4life The amazing part is that presumably brilliant minds remain in a state of denial - oblivious to the utter absurdity of their claims. Ah, well... at least it's good for a laugh! :))

  • @PillsC2E Depends on how you mean. Actually I'm making a complete joke out of any science that claims that the Universe came from nothing (unless, of course, someone can produce empirical evidence [as opposed to elaborate theories] to prove it).
