Justin's songs also has emotions.

Heat of the moment spout, I take it back....I've owned smith albums since 1985...they're two different kinds of emotion.

@mrjoegrennon thanks for being polite...but the smiths' product (ironic, funny, sad, angry) was the most original direction in english music since bowie's best years in the early 70s...i agree that lloyd cole was under-rated....his music and his talent deserved a wider audience.

I politely disagree.Smiths stink compared to Lloyd Cole...nothing but a load of boring sexual innuendo, and cliche depression....BOOO!

What lovely sentiments, I still have aplace in my HEART for the Waterboys December. Happy New Year too

they produced three stunning albums which coincided with my university years...unfortunately (if we're honest) they clashed with 'the smiths' - who were even better....if mozzer hadn't been there, lloyd cole would still be a big star today....the critics were 'smiths' fans....inevitably, because they were so much more original....but 'the commotions' made three truly great albums - which i still love and admire to this day...

Lloyd and the commotions had amazingly beautiful instuments on show always
I stumbled on this the other, I have not heard this song for 20 years, having never upgraded my lloyd cole albums to cds. It amazed me how I still knew ever single word. Where does that information hang out for 20 years. Off to see Lloyd in Cambridge 28/4/09
