204/207/212/218/221 Mercedes TV/DVD-FREE Video-in-Motion (VIM) Installation Part

!!! All electrical systems incl. the engine must be shut down and switched off !!!

0. Detach and unplug all wiring from COMAND unit
1. Remove the main connector from the COMAND unit
2. Remove the 'Optical Cable' from the connector
3. Connect the 'Optical Cable' to the male connector of the VIM wiring harness
4. Connect the auxilary cable (of the VIM wiring harness) to the VIM Interface
5. Re-assemble the COMAND unit

After completion of assembly, re-start vehicle and switch on COMAND system

To activate 'VIM', simply press-hold '-' volume button on the steering wheel for 7 secs.
To de-activate, simply press-hold again for 7 secs.
