  • This poem holds a special place in my heart and you did a great reading, Joe. I especially love the emphasis on "rage, rage" at 1:13. Very appropriate and very moving

  • Thank you, Mikey. I appreciate the kind words. I do hope Gillian will be okay. When I read of her stroke, I immediately thought of Dylan Thomas' poem. It really says it all, for me...

  • You're an amazing person Joe and tyvm from Gill's family/friends--We've got over 1,000 friends all praying for Gillian's recovery and continue to keep her in your prayers...God bless you Joe from Mikey!

  • okaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay. good to know.

  • Dylan Thomas wrote this for his dying father in 1951 as a way for him to defy death. Basically, the poem urges Thomas' father (and the reader as well) to fight for your life and not give in to death (not to be defeatist). Fight for every last moment of your life that you can get. Rather profound.
