Hornby Railroad 60163 "Tornado"

http://www.hornby.com/shop/hornby-railroad/r3060-railroad-br-4-6-2-tornado-a1...

A product review which looks at the latest Hornby Railroad "Tornado" model, and compares the models made by the companies Hornby & Bachmann respectively.

The model is put through its paces, with style, speed and sheer POWER tested to the limit!

The review finishes with a startling conclusion: which will come out on top?

Parents will find buying the model train of choice easier with Hornby VS Bachmann....!

A percentage of the proceeds from this video go to the upkeep of 60163 Tornado. Find out more at:

  • I really like your smoke effects. Took the plunge and got the Hornby one today. Could you put a link to your video under my little review, although I think it will appear in the side bar automatically.

  • @practice264 - now done :)

  • Actally, I believe the Railroad range Tornado does come with vacaum pipes. My railroad range Flying Scotsman came with brake rods and front and rear vacaum pipes taped under the polystyrene tray. Have a look and see if your's does. I was thrilled to see those details myself

  • @bluecoatscheesypoofs - note the annotations chap - a mistake long since found and corrected! ;)

  • Both 60163 tornados are very beautiful and look like the real thing. But I'd go for the American Bachman 60163 tornado since it has more detail than the also stunning Hornby tornado.

  • @TheNw1218 - it's a case of "do you want accuracy?" or "do you want detail?" Splits the market I think.

  • Confused when all three are lined up as it is not clear which one is being talked about, which one is the Bachman / Hornby and Railroad, all too quick!

  • cus of this model i cant find i normal peppercorn A1 pacific

  • Ok, sorry for the second comment. Why Tornado is £76 and the Flying Scotsman is £50? What is your opinion. The flying Scotsman has tender pickup and better buffers. I'm not complaining, the price is great, but why its more expensive than The Flying Scotsman :)

  • Simon, this is really a nice model. i think i will buy one this year, but can you tell me, why Tornado is £76 b

  • can you do a review on the bachmann tornado

  • lol i asked that before the end of your film, ok ive been answered, thanx, great video

  • can i just ask, what the differnce in prices are?

  • Say Simon, do you think tornado will be decorated for Christmas? Cause that would be a killer Christmas video...
