The Little Mermaid - Part 1/8

And The Little Mermaid begins! Part 1 of 8 is here! When my 2nd full length film "Hercules" didn't do very well with views and comments, I cancelled my plans to make my 3rd full length movie, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, in January 2011. I thought that my videos weren't as good as they could be and Hercules was long and dragged on forever. So I took a 5 month break from Stop-Motion and worked on my first hand drawn animation video "World of Color". In those 5 months, Hercules and my first movie, The Lion King got over 600,000 together. I knew it was time for another movie! One thing I liked about the Lion King was that I could work with the Movie and the Broadway show, something I didn't get to do with Hercules. So I choose a movie from the 4 Disney Broadway shows I have seen. Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King (already did it), Mary Poppins and The Little Mermaid. The Little Mermaid was my top choice. I quickly began planning and designing for the movie in early 2011. And now it's finally here! I hope you all enjoy The Little Mermaid - in 8 parts over the summer months!

Part 2 will be out July 17th!

Real nice work there Ryan. I still can't get over all the work you do to pull these off, from the making of the sets to characters and all the movement you have to do! and much more!! How did you pull off Ariels fathers beard and hair? Did you make that seperate from the figure and then glue it together? The Opening was special also how you made it look like we were under water..

@MoviesMusicNature Thanks so much Chris! For King Triton's hair I let his head dry and painted it and then added the hair out of clay. And I tried to do some emotions in this video. Most characters have more than 1 head for different facial expressions. King Trition has a happy face and an angry head, ariel has a happy face and a upset face, Ursula has a happy face and an angry face. etc. So I had to to his hair and beard 2 times! thanks for watching! :D

If you ever think about about making another movie (maybe beauty and the beast), why not get people to fandub it?? It would be pretty cool. So insted of the original voices, get people to do the voices or sing :3
