Woah, that's wild! But of all instruments to make sound like a violin, why a bass? It doesn't normally sound anything close to that of a violin.

Thats a very ignorant approach to music. Just because the music from MTV portrays the bass as a back up instrument it doesnt mean it is limited to just that. The bass just as any instrument makes sounds as well. Have some creativity, music has no limits.
