sherry you are so naive. if porn is such a taboo than why is it such a success? everyone watches porn, sherry, everyone has issues and all professions have their flaws. just because someone wears a suite does not make them a better person, just look at the bankers who stole money from our country. do you think they are better people? the blonde next to you constantly shouts half-true, misleading or false statements about our country, people like that have a greater affect on us as a country.

Listen to you monkeys actually defend this billion dollar industry. Surprise, surprise. Porn has a lot of adverse affects, that's just a fact. Saying otherwise is just sticking your head into the sand, it's having a problem with reality. There are countless documentaries of women leaving the porn industry completely broken. Just because something feels good to watch, doesn't mean its right. Those 2 things are separate and I think you retards don't realize that.

@ripcitiboi I agree with most of what you said, however porn not being taboo because it is successful is not really a valid argument. If you are saying that it isn't that morally questionable because it is successful then one could say that illicit drug sales or human trafficking isn't morally questionable because it is successful - just sayin'

The porn industry is the same as any other. There are shady people, cool people, drugged up people and nimrods. Just as Whoopi was saying. For the most part, porn stars get a bad rap cause they are just as likely to be really awsome moms and dads, as likely to be shitty ones. Which is the same for bankers, actors, gardeners, homeless dudes, what ever.

1/3 of the directors in the industry are female. Porn is a choice not coercion. The best strippers & porn stars are often very smart, very fit & quite savvy. I believe they are generally manipulative & might have a borderline personality disorder but they know what they are doing. Disassociating themselves from the reproductive act & making a hell of a lot of money in a short period of time. Most female porn stars are spent by age 28. To be a top earning star requires tenacity, beauty, health.

@ripcitiboi Its her opinion and just as you're entitled to yours she is entitled to hers. And just because porn is a success doesn't make it right. I would rather have my kids go to college and become respectable business owners, teachers, lawyers, doctors etc, than sell their bodies to make money...its a matter of values, morals and self-respect! I would also NEVER date a porn star!
