Positive brings Positive! I think these people are so Right on! The Law of Attraction Law of Time and the Law of Action! One thing that keeps people from the 3rd one is Fear! The law of Action is what most of 95% of people have a problem with! Use the Nike Slogan! Just Do It

@robert2957 yes thought vibrations don't exist, even when there are devices which measure brainwaves of our thoughts just like they would with radiowaves. Don't go claiming something doesn't exist just because you can't measure it with your 5 senses. Radio waves, magnetic forces, radiation cannot be seen,heard,tasted,smelt or felt but they exist. No offence or anything but you sound like one of those old people that only believes in something that's put right in-front of them.

@saminthehat repress and force? I don't think that's the word, it's let go and release. Example, successful people focus on the solution, not the problem. It's what you focus on multiplies which is a definite truth that you hear everywhere. The habit of positive thinking will sink into your subconcious and you will automatically be a solution oriented individual.
Also, the media is there to blunty say things, it's not there to provide a documentary on how things work, you're supposed to do that.

The idea is right: positive thinking is an essential ingredient to life (Mayo clinic 40 year study: optimism adds 2 years to life). But the science they talk about is wrong. There's no such thing as vibrations. But neuroscience does show that our thoughts affect the motivational centers in the frontal lobes, as well as every other part of the brain.

So we should repress all bad thoughts and force ourselves to be happy? I'm all for optimism but you've got to be realistic with these things.
Also, why do I never see any citations to sources or scientific studies accepted by the mainstream? Anecdotal evidence is easily countered: I myself am a very successful cynic.
And please don't mark this as spam. Silencing any doubts you have without thought kinda sorta contradicts the whole open-mindedness thing...

@saminthehat i only block people who fit the description of a troll - foulmouthed idiots with misguided anger issues.
I haven't watched this clip in years, so I can't speak 4 them, but i don't think the idea is 2 repress bad thoughts - or monitor our thinking - for if u do that, u end up spending all of your time controlling & policing your thoughts & not actually living.
good for you 2b successful as a cynic - i'd prefer 2b a happy success myself, lol. on other hand, skepticism is healthy.

@saminthehat Yo if you want the scientific backing of this, read 'the power of your subconscious mind', which is saying everything these two claim to be true but rather than say the law of attraction blah blah, the author says the subconscious mind, it's very scientific. Also type in on google 'best self help sites' and click on the first link, that's over 80% scientific information on the brain and how the mind works to bring our experiences into being by attracted them first.

God help anyone who can believe this rubbish. When we belch or break wind we set up a vibration. Do we not have to be careful to set up the right vibrations in this way if we are trying to attract success?
