Despacho blessing for our February Sacred Journies

Jeffrey and Cielle Backstrom created a Despacho prayer bundle, in gratitude to Pachamama, Mother Ayahausca and Grandfather Huachuma for the opportunity to work in ceremony with sacred teacher plants and indigenous medicine men and women in both the Andes and the Amazon River basin in Peru. We asked for ease and good health for all who will join us as well as their friends and families especially while they are away. We prayed that the organizing and executing the travels to be easy and the funds needed to make such a journey come easily for all involved.

We feel blessed to be able to make such trips, to work with amazing medicine men and woman who keep this ancient knowledge alive. We are deeply honored by those who will join us.


We breathed in our heartfelt wishes for everyone's process.
For ease in travel.
For blessings to all the families.
For the medicine workers who will be gifting to us, and for our own gifts to be birthed, nurtured, and offered to those around us.
For the apus, the plants, all those beings who we'll interact with.
For the others, helpers and staff, who we'll depend on.
For eveyone's health and safety.
For ourselves in our work and our personal growth.

And quite a lot more. It was one of the most moving despachos we've ever done.
