The view of the city of Montréal from the Chateau de Mont-Royal, 764 feet above downtown. There is a semi-circular plaza called the Belvedere Kondiaronk in front of the chateau, which provides a spectacular view of the city.
For those of you who are curious, Kondiaronk was a Huron Indian Chief who helped negotiate the Great Peace of Montréal in 1701 between New France and a number of the First Nations of North America.
