@tittiesman1231 look up an interview for the documentary "The Heart is a Drum Machine" there's a 45 min interview somewhere on here and he expresses what seems to be a huge amount of information on his religious beliefs and how music ties into it... which is ALOT btw.

holyfuck, this is beautiful.

@tittiesman1231 thats what i thought too:especially the song god where it seems written from a believer in christianity. but if you see what he posted on his blog about the album it might change your mind. the whole album is supposed to be taken place within the mind of someone, not himself. it has no action in the physical world. the only other character in the story is someone who exists inside people's minds.
its a pretty trippy concept and i dont think it reflects his religious views

John Frusciante, you are a genius...

wowwwwwww around 1:30 it gets legit
I heard John say that he didn't want to talk about his religious views in an interview, although I think he makes things pretty clear in his songs. I just wish he would come right out and talk about his beliefs though. I think John could help people break through to more mystical realms and ideas like he did me. Its interesting how he wont talk about it in an interview, but seems to be going further and further in that direction musically. Maybe he prefers to let the music speak for him. Hmm...

any ideas on why john did this and how it might relate to the concept of the album?
