The person reading these words is not Sam Harris. The words are Sam Harris'. They are from his book "The End of Faith"
Why do people like yourself ask dumb questions without checking the info bar of videos ... or even taking a few seconds to think?
Come on, many audio books (like "The End of Faith") are not read by the authors, but rather an actor/reader is highered to record it.

Anyone else find it funny how our politicans continously claim Islam to be "a religion of peace" but this video is about Islam and below it, it says "warning this video contains graphic images of death and violence"

@NYCAustinNYC How can anyone take LBGT or feminists seriously if their the 1st to apologise for islam, ISLAM!?
I mean, look at the stupidity of groups like QUIT (Queers underminining israeli "terrorism"), or gays for palestine.
What an oxymoron, gays for palestine, WHAT A JOKE these people are.
Islam is condemned to scorn for eternity.
Or when naive folks come up with terms like "islamic reformation", a contradiction in itself.
Don't they know that islam can't be changed? it's the word of "god".

Don't care how they treat gays, Israel is the most vehemently racist nation on the planet; the only nation built for the purpose of aggrandising a sinlge ethnicity to the detriment of all others, with that ethnicity (Judaism) gaining immediate unquestioned citizenship, while people who are seen as an inferior ethnicity (ie: Palestinians) but whose people have been living there in the vast majority for thousands of years, are ethnically cleansed by the millions and their homes given to Jews ONLY.

How about the homosexual litmus test?
Some Muslim countries execute homosexuals. In some Christian (African) countries homosexuality is a criminal offense. In America, Christians vote to keep homosexuals second class citizens.
Yet Israel is one of the most gay friendly countries in the world.
Muslims are only "peaceful" while they're 1, 2 or 5% of the population.
Let's just wait 10 more years to find out what will happen to the West.
15% muslims is equivalent to 85% westerners, fear-wise, terror-wise.
If the country is a liberal, politically correct, feminist and homosexual haven like Sweden, then the proportion would be something like: 1% muslim impose fear on the 99%.
Sooner rather than later civil war will break out in Europe, ultimately leading to WWIII.

Just for the record:
Among the reasons why people like me are against Islam is because Islam is against women’s and homosexual’s rights.
Given your opinions on these issues have you ever considered converting to Islam?
You seem to have to the correct mind set to be good Muslim.

"Palestinians face systematic discrimination merely because of their race, ethnicity, and national origin, depriving them of electricity, water, schools, and access to roads, while nearby Jewish settlers enjoy all of these state-provided benefits. While Israeli settlements flourish, Palestinians under Israeli control are forced to live in a time warp - not just separate, not just unequal, but even pushed off their lands and out of their homes."

Still, it is safer to be an openly gay Arab in Israel then in anywhere in the Muslim world.
Do you disagree?

@NYCAustinNYC
Yes. I would rather be a gay Arab in Turkey, at least then I wouldn't ve treated like a 4th class citizen with no basic rights and my home being taken to given to someone whose considered of a superior ethnicity to me (jews and Jews only).
Stop trying to justify racist apartheid.

While Turkey is better then most Muslim countries... I would still guess that living in Israel would be better.
Hmmm... frankly the entire Israel / Palistine thing is not something the affects my interests that much. The area under concern is such a small part of the world and there seems to be so many more important issues to care about.
