The song Medicine Girl was composed by old
friend and musician Tim Gibbons and is the first
in a series of recording sessions that see Tom collaborating with old friends and and hometown heros.
The track was recorded live off the floor with Tim Gibbons on banjo and peddle steel phoneme Aaron Goldstein. Tim tracked just a little piano, backing vocals and drums as overdubs.
Producers Glen Marshall and Michael Keire headed up the production at Vibewrangler Studio In Hamilton Ontario,
Canada
