XR6 Turbo Dose

I like the sound, but the performance loss on a hot day is alarming. Back to normal in a day or 2 me thinks. Especially with 3-4 months ahead of hot weather.

hey is that all you done to it ran 12 psi and a dose pipe ??? and removed the bov ohh and did you block the holes off on the cross over pipe thanks i got a xr6t gettin tuned to 10 psi and hopin itll sound the same ayy thankss

Yep. I used rubber chair tips to block the x-over holes.

12psi. I have a pipe coming straight off the turbo with a pod filter. No BOV either.

Do you need a special piece of straight, metal pipe or can you just put on a pod filter? Also, instead of removing this, what about a CAI and enclose the pod in a box, or maybe even a box without a lid? Or would that block too much of the sound? Does it get a annoying after a while, say just when cruising around the city?
