Goldie (and all who asked), Jack uses a Drop D tuning on "Natural Man" (bass E dropped to D)... it is so commonly used that it is not considered an alternative tuning any more.
He will use a special tuning when the song benefits from it... a dropped A on "This Is My Body" and a weird and wacky tuning he calls BAGHDAD on "This Moment is Mine" are two examples.
Mostly, though, it's just a straight tuning played extremely well!
