The mother of the sixth imam of Shiites was Umm Farwa, wife of Imam Baqir, who was the grandson of Hussain. Umm Farwa’s father name was Qasim bin Muhammad bin Abu Bakr, and his mother’s name was Asma bint Abdur Rahman bin Abu Bakr. Hence the maternal grandfather and grandmother of the sixth imam of Shiites, to whom the Shiites attribute their Fiqh, were the grand children of Abu Bakr, i.e Qasim and Asma.
