we only have the dual tones not the repeated beeping and out stations kinda small but when we tone out they just dispatch us by saying Lafayette Fire and rescue your department is requested for fires/MVA or squad is requested for ems but its weird cause we have 3 engines a tanker, rescue and 2 squads so u really dont know what to go in lol

@killaharry12, I kinda liked those calls, because that's usually when I was still up. I'd usually get to bed around 4-5 in the morning, and the night crew were the only guys at the station so there was a good chance I'd be able to actually go on the call... :-)

@eureka800 No, I was on medical leave at the time, so I wasn't allowed to respond to any calls... :(

@eureka800 Well, like I said, I couldn't respond because I was on medical leave, so I couldn't do anything but listen to it until I was able to return from my leave.. :(
