He was a great actor no doubt. When it comes to adopting moral values in life, he failed. I have no intention of spoiling his image but when I think of Leelavathi & Vinod Raj, I feel disgusted. He left them as orphans in this world.
He should acknowledged them as his own before he left this world.

Dr. Raj starts in Thodi and towards the end of the song, does a Grihabheda into Mohanam and then finishes off in Kaanada. This man's talent (acting and singing) are nothing short of legendary. :)

The reason for so much fuzz about annavru is because of the roles he played in his career. His roles were moral science class for the whole of kannadigas (or perhaps to every one). If one wants to teach what is right to their kids, they don't need to send them to some hifi school. All they need to do his show them movies like bhaktha kumbara, bhagyavantharu, badavara bhandhu, bangaradha manushya, bangaradha hoovu, kasthoori nivasa, sanadi appanna, babruvahana, sandhya raaga, kantheredu nodu..
