@AllishunsRule I was rough housing with my dog once and caught his face. the look on his face made me cry ... because he wasn't used to be rough housed there, he thought i just smacked him [i've never smacked him] .. he's ok now

@AllishunsRule No, I agree about rough housing, I rough house with my dogs. But allowing your child to punch a dog in the head isn't rough housing.
I don't hit my dogs head/face while rough housing.

@mosquitio rough housing.. that's all it seems to be, i rough house with my pit bull, but she's well enough trained to know that biting is still not allowed. i don't mean to put my nose in your conversation, but i believe you've got the wrong idea, dogs can be played with roughly and still never bite someone.
