HOT R.S. stands for House Of The Rising Sun. It was the name of a faceless disco-rock studio band from Johannesburg, South-Africa.

  • Damn I love this LP. I also had it. I love the flip side as well, I believe it was a track called Delta Queen.

  • @kaloony63 You can find "Delta Queen" in my channel.

  • Even though I have this on vinyl somewhere (from my parents collection) you have no idea what it means to me to find this on YouTube. I lived in SA from 72-79 and this piece of music will forever remind me of my young adulthood. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Much love...jmatc xxx

  • Dear justmeandthecats, I'm really happy you liked it.

  • Thank you so much. I bought it in vinyle at that time. Can't believe I'm listening it again.

  • I love that LP my father buy it to me for the beautifull picture, it's one of my favorite disk because a few people know it. I enjoyed to listen it with the lights effects in my room with my friends in 1979,

  • музыка всех времён и народов!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Maybe it'll seem strange for you, but this song also reached USSR - my dad worked as engineer abroad in Iran in 78-80 and brough back big box of compact tapes, including this one, so this tune also reminds me own early childhood (was 7 at that time). Never knew it had South African origin though! - thanks alot kahkeshansard !
